Haryana CET 2025: Registration Deadline Nears; All Domicile Certificates Accepted

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced that the registration for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 will conclude on June 12, 2025. This examination serves as a gateway for candidates aspiring for Group C and D positions within the state government.

  • Domicile Certificate Flexibility: In a significant relief to applicants, HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh stated that all domicile certificates, irrespective of their issuance date, will be considered valid for the CET 2025 application.
  • Accurate Personal Details: Applicants are urged to ensure that their names and other personal details match exactly with official documents like Aadhaar cards and educational certificates. Discrepancies may lead to application rejection.
  • Avoid Duplicate Registrations: Candidates who registered for CET in 2022 should use their existing registration details. Creating new registrations may result in application cancellation.
  • Beware of Fake Portals: HSSC has cautioned applicants against using unauthorized websites for registration. Only the official portal should be used to apply.

    • General Male Applicants: ₹500
    • General Female Applicants: ₹250
    • SC/BC/EWS Applicants: ₹250

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Group C Posts: Minimum qualification is 10+2 or as specified.
  • Group D Posts: Minimum qualification is Matriculation or as specified.
  • Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric level or higher.

Examination Format:

  • The CET will be conducted either online or offline (OMR-based) in both Hindi and English languages.
  • The test comprises 100 multiple-choice questions covering General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mathematics, English, Hindi, and Haryana General Knowledge.
  • Each question carries 0.95 marks, totaling 95 marks.
  • There is no negative marking; however, leaving a question unanswered will result in a deduction of 0.95 marks.
  • Validity of CET Score: The CET score will remain valid for three years from the date of result declaration.
